Alan graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting where he then worked for about 5 years at a local CPA firm right out of college. His responsibilities included but were not limited to: non-for-profit & government agency audits, 990’s, schedule A’s & 5500 tax returns.

Alan then spent the next 15 years working for companies in the construction and property, manufacturing, and management industries. During this time, he gathered a wide range of skills within the operations and HR side of business, working in multiple states & countries. Alan has a proven record at cutting lead times, reducing back-office costs, and streamlining companies as they navigate today’s economic challenges. Day’s extensive experience within HR has enabled him to foster a positive workplace environment and maintain the highest levels of employee retention.

Alan managed Halcyon Solutions, an IT consulting firm with offices in the USA & India and client/consultants in 25+ states and 10+ countries annually, from 2011 till its sale in Aug. 2024 as the COO/CFO and complete his transition phase in April 2025.

He joined Central Point partners in July 2025 as our CFO.
