What kind of people work at your company? Our employees are diverse, innovative, dedicated, hardworking and reliable. They are resilient, collaborative, fast-acting and share a passion to succeed.

What’s a good team-building activity you’ve done? Our team recently flew to San Antonio for the Inc 5000 Conference & Gala. While there, we participated in a walking food tour down near the River Walk with authentic Tex-Mex dishes. This was such a fun culinary experience, sharing the love of food with everyone.

What incentives do you offer to high-performing employees? We offer great benefits and incentives to our high-performing employees: recognition and appreciation, competitive compensation, bonuses and merit-based rewards, retirement plans with 401k matching, training and education programs, flexible remote work, flexible schedules, healthcare and wellness programs, extended maternity benefits, company trips and stock appreciation options.

How do you ensure diversity in your workforce? We embrace diversity in our workforce by getting to know our colleagues on a personal level, regardless of their culture and background. We deepen our appreciation of differences and promote an inclusive and welcoming work environment. Different perspectives are valued and embraced and can go a long way to foster productive business relationships. We promote volunteerism among employees and provide paid volunteer time off. We provide corporate-sponsored initiatives to raise funds and awareness to different causes, and we encourage reverse-mentoring, which allows our younger employees to feel valued and more established workers to gain a fresh perspective.

Do you encourage risk-taking, and what happens when people fail? The single biggest lesson we’ve learned is to pursue your passion and be a risk-taker. You will make mistakes along the way, but failure is not an outcome to be afraid of. Failure happens and it’s OK. It's a strength and will give you a much better understanding of what not to do the next time. We always encourage everyone to try hard, work hard and never give-up. We believe that within every failure, there is a lesson to be learned and an opportunity for a step into the right direction. Failure can be one of the most important steps towards success. After a failure, the team comes together to discuss the good, the bad and map out where to go next.

How do you promote employees’ professional growth? Central Point Partners promotes professional growth by offering each employee the opportunity for advancement in the company. We recently launched a new program called Operation Mobile Spouses, which focuses on hiring military spouses as sourcers and training them to become IT recruiters and ultimately senior recruiters/account managers. Providing our employees with the tools and training for self-improvement can only lead to success, not only for the company but for the individual as well.
